XCO is advancing physical and cognitive performance across the spectrum of health, sports and aging. From our headquarters in Penticton, BC, our team has developed a portfolio of proprietary technology solutions to enable accessible and comprehensive movement, balance and cognitive-motor assessment for healthcare and sports performance. Building on that portfolio, XCO will be launching a novel AI based health patch designed to empower patients and their care teams with real-time vital signs, predictive health analytics and support the rapid transition to virtualized care.

This is an exciting time at XCO because we are moving our products from prototype to production. In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your experience and grow your skill in design and manufacturing across all stages of product management, from prototyping through to large scale production.

XCO was founded in 2014 and remains a privately held company. Within this structure there is ample opportunity to be involved in the development, delivery and support of new products going to market. As XCO grows and expands, you will have opportunities to steer your career into areas that are of the greatest interest to you. Outside of work, you will be able to experience living in one of the most beautiful places in the world and be surrounded by mountains and lakes.

You will immediately become a valuable team member focusing on hardware assembly, testing and troubleshooting of prototypes as well as the DFM builds. As a natural extension of that work you will also be asked to develop QA/QC processes and lead supply chain management for builds with contract manufacturers.

Duties and responsibilities

The position requires some  physical labour, including but not limited to: light to moderate lifting, transporting equipment, and quality assurance testing of the health and sports-based assessments.

Nice to have

Compensation and benefits

Remuneration will be based on experience and include a competitive benefits package and participation in the company’s stock option plan. You will be expected to work remotely for the near term but will eventually be asked to work on site in Penticton. It is ideal if you live in or near Penticton so we can meet for testing activities and to pass hardware back and forth.

We generally stick to regular pacific coast working hours, however, we ask that you be flexible in early mornings and evenings on occasion in order to efficiently work with offshore contractors and manufacturers. In return, we can usually accommodate short notice vacation days.

Equal opportunity employer

At XCO, we value diversity in our team and encourage all qualified candidates to apply. We appreciate all responses and advise that only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
